I was in the same boat as you not too long ago. I even got ahold of danny which gave me a great price. But when I was ready to take my car he was no where to be found.

Not saying his work is bad, just was not able to get a hold of him.

I ended up going with Louie from L-con in placentia. Does some great work and lets you know whats going on.
(714)-366-1711 is his number! GL

in your sig it says you went 11.xx at 128. well 7mph faster and you need a cage certified for 8.50 or slower.

I think thats what my sticker says. 8.50 or slower certified!

very true but when it comes to regulations it doesnt matter. what matter's is the welds.

Basically most cage's are the same besides the halo bars and straight A-pillar bars, rear down bars to the frame rails or the strut mounts or even the strut mount bar.

They have the same designs basically, all your paying for is the welds and how close the bars get to the car.

that is very true...I've had work done with DANNY @ PRO-MOD and im very happy with his welds and fab work but..CANNOT FIND THE MAN...and I KNOW HOW MUCH supplies and labor should be on a cage so..when a shop throws out a price of 1800 dollars for a 6pt. roll bar....its just not realistic....IM JUST LOOKING for a fair price and good work...

THANKS GUYS FOR ALL UR INPUT AND REFERENCES !

I WOULD NEVER CUT CORNERS ON A ITEM LIKE THAT BUT AS "RIPDELSOL" SAID...ITS THE WELDS AND HOW CLOSE THE CAGE IS TO THE ROOF DOORS ETC...A CAGE IS A CAGE(DESIGN WISE)...BUT U GOT THESE LITTLE KIDS RUNNIN SHOPS THAT ARE CHARGING OUTRAGEOUS PRICES FOR WORK...

We went to Ron Lummus Racing. He can knock it out really quick, too. Best fab work I've seen around here. L Con is really good, too. Can't go wrong with either one.

All Of our stuff is done at Steen Chassis. They do some of the best work and get it out quick. Gary and Jason are great guys. Gary does some of the best welding I have ever seen on many types of metal. I have seen him redo things on my own car that I said was ok and he was like naw I dont like. If it's worth doing it's worth doing right. And it is much cheaper to do it right the first time.

S&W mail order + $800 at Sears = 6pt roll bar, free welder.
