Default D15B2/Z6 MINI-ME rough idling, dying

I have an 89 Dx hatch. This past weekend, we did the DPFI to MPFI and changed from OBO0 to OBD1 using a jumper harness and P28 auto converted to manual. The engine specs are B2 block, 2-layer Y8 HG, Z6 head/IM TB. It started right up first crank, idle perfect and then ran perfect for 2-3 days. Day 3-4, it began randomly sputtering, revs drop as if dying, then jumps back. It got worse very soon within 2 days and now it won't even idle. Try to start it, it dies right away. Itll idle high and then normal for about 2-5 minutes and then die. I read about the EACV causing symtoms like this, so we took it off, cleaned it and didnt do anything. Is there another sensor that could be causing this? MAP? TPS? We tried to drive it when it idles normal, but the slightest press of the throttle kills it. I hope you guys can help me out and sorry the post was so long.

Thats what confusing, no codes at all. Not sure how the plugs look, but I am buying new plugs and wires today. Something I should have done before installing it all since the all the parts had been sitting outside for a couple months. Could sensors be causing this? MAP? TPS?

we double checked the timing, everything was still in check. we have the B2 block with Z6 head and Y8 cam gear to correct cam timing.

Its just weird, we looked at the harness last night and it was ok, still plugged in, none of the connections have came loose, everything was soldered and heatshrink was used.

just spoke to a friend, he ran compression test. not a blown head gasket. he said he relieved fuel pressure and now it wont even crank. could it be a bad fuel pump?

alright, heres the thing....we crank the motor but it wont start. if we spray starting fluid into the manifold while trying to start it, it starts but dies soon after. would this suggest something being wrong with the injectors? we switched fuel pumps. not the issue. perhaps FPR? were using the Z6 one. were also wondering if it could be a faulty main relay or wiring from....
