I know this sounds dumb and probably a long shot but does anyone know if the RB25Det engine from the 90's R33 skyline swap into our em2's.

 

first off thats rwd so you gotta do all that swap n it wouldnt fit in the engine bay.... its to big

 

now now boys, im sure if he removed his firewall he might have enough space to fit the motor in...

To answer the question:
You're going to have an extremely difficult time mounting the engine, and making anything work properly with it. If you were to use it ONLY for the track, then you could gut the interior and run a drive shaft to the rear and setup the engine properly with a custom dash and wiring. But, if you want it to be street legal, you're looking at spending a fortune to just get it running properly in the engine bay. It won't fit in the bay, without huge amounts of metal work on the firewall.

The RB25 is longer than a Corvette V-8, and look how much it is taking to mount one of those in a Civic: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2004368
