dpfi to mpfi redline?
a recently ordered the parts to do the swap from dp to mp and i was just wondering since i am going to change the ecu, will this make my red line be at 8200( i think is si) or will it still be at 6500 or whatever it is?

your redline will be the same.
8200 is B16
7100 is the si but, without the cam change and whatnot.... you'll want to keep revving it to 6800

I have seen a few people use a B16 ecu on Sohc setups but every one that I have seen that revs to 8k has spun the cam gear on the cam and blown up the motor. I would highly recommend not taking a sohc up that high even if it is built. It will blow
