Default Where to buy - 1/8" NPTF aluminum weld bung?

I figure it would be cheaper than buying a tap I'll use once.. Anyone know where to get these? I need to put a bung on my intake mani for an AEM 3.5bar map sensor. The kit appears to come with a brass NPT-AN adapter, but that won't do me any good. Thanks!

buy some 1/2" aluminum round stock. drill the end...tap for 1/8" NPT... cut and run the tap through again...tada!

All that being said, it is not recommended to mount them directly on the manifold, they don't like the vibration. Mount it on the firewall and run a vacuum line to it.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by tony1 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">All that being said, it is not recommended to mount them directly on the manifold, they don't like the vibration. Well that explains why it comes with a NPT - AN adapter then. In that case I'll just tap the existing hole in the manifold for 3/8 NPT, and put a NPT - AN fitting in there, and run a hose to the remote-mounted sensor.

Thanks everyone for the help!

Or, you could attach it directly to the T1 vacuum block, it has 1/8" NPT ports on it already!
