so the other day i noticed a squeeking noise coming from the front of the car, thinking it might be the suspension or the rubber bushings...well after driving around i realized it might be something else...then i thought maybe the bumper was loose..so i get home pop the hood and some way in hell....i see that the hoodlatch at one bolt had pulled out of the frame with part of the frame still on the bolt...meaning i now i have a nickel size hole in the frame...than i look on the other side an see that the other top bolt has 2 rust cracks on each side..also i notice that the vertical bar that attaches in the middle is slight ly bent and one of the tack welds has come loose....any clue as how much it will cost in replacing or fixing all this stuff??? rest of car seems fine...can i do it myself except fixing that tack weld? or is that middle piece of the frame welded an screwed in place?
did you buy your car used? looks like it slipped of he jack point in the front and the jack messed up the rad support and pused that top part out with it.
no sure how much it costs to fix but there is welding involved if you want a new one. the top part i think is obly $200 or so. not sure. maybe get some bigger pics to see what else is messed up
