Default D16 vtec head into an F22(i think?)

Ok here's the deal. My friend has a '92 accord 4 door ex. She's not sure which engine it is and I haven't had a chance to look at it yet. She says she wants it to be vtec. As luck would have it I hydro locked my d16z6 in my '93 Si and got a b18b1 to swap it with. I haven't done the swap yet so my old engine and everything is still inside my civic, but I was wondering how feasable it would be to put my vtec head from my d16 into her engine. I don't think it would work, but figured what the hell, why not ask, might have a funny *** ghetto DIY. Also doubt it would work but would my 5 spd tranny fit on her engine? Throwing together a vtec head swap + manual conversion I think would be a fun way to spend a weekend, if there's any reasonable way it can be done without making it more expensive than it would be worth.

I'm pretty sure the D to F head isn't compatible. I don't think you can swap trannies either.

I'm sure somebody else will chime in

if she wants VTEC just get a VTEC F series head and swap it on.

you can buy F/H-to-D adapter for the tranny but thats more for Civic/Integra guys. It's not a good option for the Accord because the shift linkage is different and the mounts are different so there would be quite a bit custom work needing to be done. So in short, if she wants an auto-to-manual conversion then it's best that you just buy the parts from a totaled Accord in some junkyard.
