LOL....that's a weird pic....looks like the turbo is sticking up in the air above the hood line.

Illusion of the pic. Turbo sits under the hood line, air filter tucks nicely under the hood prop mount as well.

Cool now build it so it doesnt crack under the stress and weight of the turbo like the lovefab one does, then I will ditch my full race manifold and get that one and put my oil filter back.
Because honestly sometimes this scares me

why not use AN fittings? I think the only thing scary about that remote mount is the hose clamps on the ss line.

Seriously! I wouldn't drive that around the block. Seen too many hose clamps pop off randomly...

Kinda hard to put AN fittings on the stock oil cooler.

Right, it setup better than stock as far as the hose clamps go, I would just rather keep them in the stock location

there are oil filter relocation kits that come with AN fittings.... I don't see why you guys are using hose clamps.

I really like that manifold but theres no way id sell a full race manifold if i already had one. Id just find a solution for those worm clamps first......

Looks nice, curious to see how it holds up.

The stock oil cooler uses hose clamps on stainless braid? It might work but you won't see it on any of my projects.

if you want to use hose clamps then use rubber hose instead of steel braid

Correct. Braided line with hose clamps is just asking for trouble. Take a rubber hose in one hand and a steel braided hose in the other. Try to squeeze them both with your hands. Bet you don't have much luck squeezing the braided line, and neither does the hose clamp...

This thread is not about hose clamps, so who cares!

We made ours to fit around the filter for a reason.

It's got a full size Koyo tucked underneath. Not a huge fan of the v-mount for heat purposes but these cars really have 0 room for a decent size FMIC.

Nick is the Owner and Head Fabricator. So that would be his handy work.

Thanks for the compliments.
