clutch grinding
Went racing in the mountains with the NSX club europe some time ago, and after about 5/6 hours of vtec I backed up against a small slope for a photoshoot and my clutch slipped and smelled like hell. But smell went away after half an hour and didn't notice anything.
But a few days later when I went for a drive I heard a grinding sound between 1000/2500rpm. Been hearing the grind ever since in both 1st, 2nd, reverse (Dunno about higher gears cuz of engine/muffler sound.)
Don't have any problems with changing gears or slipping clutch.
Does this mean I need to replace my clutch or does it just need some readjusting/fixing?

5-6 hours of continuous vtec....wow
after that little excursion i wouldn't be surprised if the clutch is a little worn......were you changing gears a lot during that long race of a drive?

well did take 2 lunch brakes and some parts slowing down in villages, but yeah most of the time running 5500-7500rpm to keep up with the nsx'es in the chicanes and hairpins
. Mostly in 3rd and 4th gear.
But checked the clutch during my swap about 4 months ago and didn't show any signs of being worn down back then.
