EL sorta does take after the Civic but it is definitely a completely separate car as they sold both the Acura EL and Honda Civic in Canada.

they utalized the same chassis and alot of the parts from a civic but its a diffrent car
its basically a luxury civic.

 

I believe that's an EL with a Civic center dash bezel, but either way, that's where the part originates from.

No, it's an EL center console.

 

The lower pocket is from a 1.6 Acura EL from Canada. The heater bezel is from a 96-98 Honda Civic. The heater bezel on the EL is different, so that pocket has to be in a EK

 

ok, my next question is can i use that same lower pocket in my ek ?

 

Thats a whole lower console replacement. It will replace your stock lower console with the outlet plug in it

hey guys, i need a little bit more help. Are there any acura stores online that i can order this part from ? i can remember the the links to the online store you guys use to get your diagrams from. Any help you guy can give me would be cool.

Did you try googling for Acura Canada Parts? Should see a couple dealers.

e-mail or call a canadian dealership's parts dept. Example =Downtown Acura tell them you are looking for a 96-98 1.6 EL lower dash cover with the pocket and cigarette lighter (12v outlet). If your are unsure, ask them to send you the illustration that shows the part.
