What Oil?
Hey guys i was searching for what type of oil i should use on my D16Y8 but all i found was the synthetic kind.
I have 165,xxx miles on it and was thinking what type of oil i need, i was currently using 10w40 but not sure if its the correct one??
so any help is appreciated!

I would say stick with the 10. I think the 20's will be too thick for you car. On my civic Honda recommends 5w30 I believe and it works great for me even in the 90-100 degree days. I've used the 10w before and it worked fine, but I would stop there IMO.

I would run a quality 5W-30, which is the weight recommended by Honda. Also, understand that the first number in the viscosity rating is the low-temperature number, followed by the high temperature number.

Yes, though 10W-30 would also be decent, and has the advantage of a narrower spread in viscosity. Since you won't be operating in very cold temperatures, the greater low-temp viscosity should not present a problem.
