Default 89 civic 4dr swap a d16a1 is it possible

Will it bolt to my stock dx trans its a racecar so harness issues or a/c or p/s 90 hp and 1qt oil every 30 minutes during http://www.24hoursoflemons.com found a 88 integra w/140k for 300

i'll be nice to you and answer your question, but in short yes it will bolt to your stock dx trans. all d series transmissions will bolt up. just for future reference there is tons of great information on this site all available to you with the use of this sites "search" feature, chances are your question has been already been answered elsware. and a free bump for the bay

i'm not so sure about this.....

but one thing's for sure. you'll have to fabricate mounts from scratch to make the engine bolt in at all. and i still doubt that your trans will mate to the block.

don't buy the teg!!!

Correct and correct.

The D16A1 is the exception to the rule with D-series motors. It's not really compatible with anything but itself.

thx for the answers I needed! I just picked up a wrecked 96 GSR and going tp put that in a delsol I got and the d16z6 into the 89 civic that will fit
