Default Location of factory engine grounds?

Hi, I was hoping someone knows where all the engine should be grounded. I finally found that my charging problem is due to lack of/bad grounds. At some point before I bought the car a new motor was put in, seems the only ground they hooked up was the obvious one on top the vavlve cover, and they did a bad job on it at that. If I remember right there is also one over by the transmission/starter area. Anywhere else I should have grounded? Also, where is the factory ground location for the battery supposed to be, I think they moved that too.

Thanks Alot

negative battery terminal to frame rail

transmission to frame rail

valve cover to (core support? i dunno wtf you call it )
actually this one goes from one of the valve cover nuts, to a nearby dedicated grounding spot in the valve cover, then to the core support.

and then there's the wire from your engine's harness that grounds to the thermostat housing.
