I love my car she's taken good care of me. I bought her new in 2000.
Been through some fender benders, rock's, cones, doors on the road and crap.
Soon to have a D16y8 with a JRSC 6lbs.
(I know Type-R and GSR are the shizz but thats later down the road)
The Wheels are Sparco Viper fangs which are pretty rare so hope I dont kill em.

that hood looks fine for the year but it looks a bit short by the grille..Looked better with the original. Now it doesn't look right. And like they said, don't go supercharger

this depends on what supercharger it is..........i love the vortech supercharger......and i have seen great hp with them.....well not me but one of my friends has one and he is seeing around 300whp on his b16.
but turbo is better and cheaper and you will see better numbers! but thats my $0.02

LOL oops wrong forum. I'm such a Noob.
I already have the Jackson Racing Super Charger so i'm gonna check it out. later I'll do a GSR or H22.
And yes I got security so dont even think about it.
The reason the hood doesnt line up is that I was recently in a fender bender
Wipers need to go I know they look even worse with carbon fiber

is that a junkyard hood?
is your bumper falling off?
don't waste your money on a supercharger, i'd do a ls swap before i wasted my money.
that's it.</TD></TR></TABLE>
They're blue because of a bad purchase.
Common man the hood is new and carbon fiber.
I think it'll do OK on the 1/8 mile with the flat torque line
I got a D16y8 with the charger low miles for $1600
What are you running Mr Cool??

To be quite honest with you:
Your engine is very clean. I'll give the entire engine compartment a thumbs up. It's so clean in there, I'd say you're someone who cares for his car.
Now, I was a bit disappointed at how it looks externally, esp the hood. The look of the car and the engine compartment don't go together.
Just my honest opinion.... Fix up the cosmetic issues and the car will look and run like a million bucks

Yeah not my engine bay but I agree it's damn clean more than mine.
But than again I've put some hard miles on her. This is not a show car its a daily driver but I still think its cool.
When I start taking a bodyshop class then we will see clean as can be.

I think it will be fun. My little D16y7 is even fun to drive and it's 106 Hp mabey more with the bolt-ons.
So going from 106+ to maybe 160 H.P. should be more entertaining. Plus I can get a smaller pulley for more boost later. At least I have the lightest chassis for my generation civic. (CX) Plus I removed everything behind me (seats, spare tire)
I will do a B swap later but for now why not. It's different anyways. You don't hear the whine of a supercharger in a civic very much. It will be fun!!!

In the SOHC ones, they will just whistle as the bypass closes. Thats all. The DOHC ones make plenty of noise.
