I hate pin stripe on my 93 civic is there away to take the it off without hurting the car?

i've done it twice
there will be discoloration beneath it
use either goo gone or 3m has a good adhesive remover.
your fingernail will be your best start, but a soft plastic something will also do, i used a spackle smother thing

you can get the pads without the die grinder. But you'll need to regulate ur RPMs.
