I heard that using a hair dryer or heat gun to heat it up then taking a hammer and chisel works also...but will probably take you a while to finish.

I used a heat gun and a scraper to get it up on my 93 hatch. It worked pretty good, although there were places that had bits of tar left. On those places I just used brake parts cleaner. WATCH OUT THOUGHT. As we all know, brake cleaner eats paint.

My friend said dumping Goo Gone on it or chiseling it away with a hammer w/ scraper or screwdriver worked better for he 88 hatch. But IMO I don't think anythign worked good on that old crap, it was horrible.

My 00 hatch came right up with easy by just using a heat gun and scraper.
