disconnect your exhaust, to run open headers, take out spark plug #3, Drill holes in your intake manifold... it will be louder than anything you've ever heard.
Ever hear of downturns for exhausts? Yeah? Well just turn it upside down, and have a turnup, you know, DTM style. Only weld that onto the end of the header.
Cut a hole in the floorpan. That will prevent it from obnoxiously getting in the way of making the car REALLY loud. This is great, because it's super loud for you, and with the windows all rolled up, it won't be as obnoxious to people outside.

Cmon guys, give it your best shot. The possibilities are endless here. Get creative.
I'll give this one a shot. I have a hondata, and the lower I set the vtec the more noticalble it gets. One of my coworkers was following me home from work and he said he could hear every time it kicked in. I also have a straight through exhaust too.

(Cheaper route, get a VTEC controller and set the VTEC to 4000 rpm and floor it)
Im guessing a couple of these in the hatch
Wired up to a couple of these in the intake
You should really hear VTEC Kickin In with this setup.

Well, have your intake pull from the cabin, and run an open header up through the floor pan under the seats.
Get some oxygen tanks with masks though, or else you wont be hearing anything for long.
On a serious note, the Short Ram intakes are much louder than the CAI's in VTEC.
