The engine doesn't make any power up there, why would you want to rev it that high. The head won't be able to flow any effective air into the cylinder at those RPM's on a stock LS/B20 head. I have a JDM B20B in my DA and I rarely take mine up to 6500, usually no more that 6000-6200 and I have a ported head on mine that will keep making power(except for the lack of cams).

Taking the RPM's that high on the B20 puts a lot of stress on the rod bolts and bearings making it more prone to giving you a spun bearing. Having the larger heavier pistons going that fast tend to like to pull away from the crank stretching the rod bolts and in turn ovaling the bearings. Although if you really want to, ARP rod bolts and new rod bearings will make it easier to rev that high(normally good to about 8k but wouldn't do that with a stock head).

a head swap has got nothing to do with your b20 block holding together at 7k rpms

its not 6lbs..... the torque power curve is steeper and torque kicks in a lot sooner than it does on the LS.

Anytime you change the bore or stroke of an engine the power curve will change.

Peak numbers its like 3 or 6lbs like you said.. but the power kicks in sooner i hope that explains.

if its the b20b i would go turbo because of the 8.8 CP but if its the b20z or the b20 with a p8r head i would put it in....

the reason why i bought a new engine is because i blew my ls motor. so my homie sold me his b20b. i got a b16 head for it too but dont got the money to put on the head so im going to run it stocc for now.

i was thinkin that but you would have to do a lot more then just slap a turbo on to a b20. and i really dont have the money for that right now.

B20's are dogs when mated to a LS tranny. You need at least a GS-R transmission on there or a B16A transmission. I wouldn't rev a stock b20 longblock past 6500.
