i was wondering if anyone knows a trick to make your crx si seats stay in a more upright position. i feel like the stock position is too reclined. if anyone knows how to do this please chime in. thank you

what im looking for is way that adjusts the cam or sprocket to make the first click sooner. (if that makes sense)... i i thaught i've seen this done before. besides the seats sit high enough.

the only way you could do this is cut the recliner peice that connects to the top portion of the seat. notch it then reweld it. if you take the seat apart youll see what im talking about. you must be short or an old lady or have realy good posture.

Well, I'd be interested in doing this myself, and I'm tallish (6'2").
Stupid Reclining Posture puts too much weight on my tailbone, and not enough on my thighs...

well im 6'0 and i think alot of crx drivers can relate to this . because for my arms to reach the wheel comfortably, i have to scoot the seat way forward which leads to bunched up legs. not cool. i personally like driving in a complete upright position. better feeling of control.
as for raising the car in the back.... no
washers... no i'll be hitting the roof..
so i think i may hit the junkyard and take apart a seat there and see how that works... if i can notch it.
if anyone has any insight on how its done for sure, chime in.

If that's the reason, why not focus on the steering wheel and get a spacer. I've heard of others doing this and giving it

A 3" dished steering wheel and hub spacer solved that problem for me.
I find the first upright locked position of the driver's seat to be just perfect.

I have an FLP shifter too. Love it.
I focused on all of the controls first, to make the car fit me perfectly.

No.
The CRX, like most Hondas, is ergonomically one of the best cars I've driven. Yes, there are better, but there are also much, much worse. For example, every Saturn ever made.

true, you're right. its not that bad and there are worse... i just gotta get my position right and i'll be happy. i have an 00 si with dellies and i just love the way it fits me.. so, i guess i always end up comparing the two, but they're just two different birds all together.
and no i dont want to put dellies in the rex.
thanks guys
