Default Will it fit?

I plan to buy 16x7 Rota Slipstream wheels. It says the wheels have a +40mm offset. So can 225mm-wide tires fit snuggly w/o fender rubbing? I dunno if this topic has been covered already, redirect me to the parent thread if so. Thanx.

225 seems kinda wide. not sure if it'll rub tho.

Is ur car dropped at all? cuz if it is that might increase chances of rubbing.

Also what size sidewall you thinking of running cuz that will make a difference too

naw, my car is completely stock.

I'm looking at a 225/50/16 tire.

You can run 215/50/16's without rubbing on +40's. I've done it, and tucked tire.
