Default Gsr Redlining?!

Ok I know this is pointless but I just cant find the answer. I wanna be able to redline all the time and not break anything for a long time. What do I need to do. And down the road ill put in some cams so i actually get power.

Thanks for any input

Why do you want to bounce off the rev limiter all the time? It's not healthy for the motor and I'm pretty sure your motor/cams aren't making power at redline! If you want to be safe, then buy some aftermarket valves, valve springs, retainers and get some cams....then you'll need to get your ecu tuned....but even then, over revving your motor is pointless and stupid and will not make it "for a long time"

I am not over revving it. I was talking about stock red line. I just wanna get up to stock redline with power and being safe. I think its like 8200 on my gsr and I lose power at like 7.5 or something...

I always shift at 7500-7800...never go past that. On the dyno my old gsr didn't make power after 7900 RPM so i think its pointless to go past that.

the top of your motor, whats inside the head, the head gasket, maybe even the head itself. even if you replace it something will eventually go wrong. the futher you go away from stock the more problems you will have.

It's a honda, just tach that bitch out and STFU

The OP should study what it takes to rev out to 9000: lots of engine/head work.
