Default Anyone use 225/45/14 BFG on stock steelie?

Wanted to know if this is an ok tire for BFG's on stock steelies. I didnt know they made this tire, i thought it was only 205/50 and 215/60. This one seems good because of the width and overall diameter of 22". Anyone have any pics or suggestions?

needs a 7" rim, 215/60/14 looks squeezed on a 14x6 rim

hmm, i was looking at that size, but i think 24" tall is too big for my 253whp/222wtq. I guess i'm gonna try out the 205/50/14.

Thanks man! I dont plan on running these on the street, i would be scared of taking quick turns and the tire rolling. I'm assuming you had no problems with that since you ran them on the street. I think i'm gonna try them.

no problem! i loved these tires on the street..they fit better than my old tires, and im not much of an auto X person so i wasnt rippin turns hard, but the tires were fine around corners and never had a problem when it was wet out...only problem i ran into was that i have a 4.785 FD and with nitrous i run out of gear fast since they're such a short tire...all motor i loveddd them
