well lock it up..........think i got question answered

I wish I knew buddy, I posted an electrical question on here too and it went un noticed.

 

ya i know..................i am sorta thinking i may have the wrong alternator

 

any other ideas??

 

Fuse #14 runs several things...

The alternator/regulator being bad or shorted is a
common cause..

Fuse #14 runs the following:
Voltage regulator
Emission control solenoid valves
PGM-FI Main relay/fuel pump
PGM-FI ECU
ELD unit
EACV

 

ok thanks so if i decided to run a 15 amp fuse instead of a 10 do you think it would blow or would it be bad to put that much higher of one in there?

 

only problem i see is you run the risk of frying you harness. its happened to me before
