the dx engine harness has a 3 wire iacv while the ex has a 2 wire. Also the ex has a knock sensor and dx doesnt i believe. Dx doesnt have vtec wired in either. Do a search, you can convert the 3 wire to 2 wire iacv..its easy

 

well i did that im just trying to find out what wire to check on my 96dx to see if my ecu is getting power

 

so you plug in your ecu..and your getting no power? Are all your grounds connects? (trans to frame, harnes to thermostat, valve cover to core support, etc)battery connected? Alternator good?

 

ok when i turn my car on my fuel is supposed to prim and my main relay clicks but it dont and i get a solid cell

 

have you tried a different ecu..maybe the one you got is junk..also can you jumper the prong to see if you have any codes?

 

solid ecu usually means faulty ecu

 

it does the same things on both ecus !!! i know my stock dx one is good and with a solid cell you wont throw any codes o and i found out my ecu has power duhhh when i plug in the A plug theres a cel when i take it out theres no cell god im stupid
