Hey guys,
I have been getting the run around from tire kingdom about a problem with my tires. I have michelin pilot exalto pe2's, and they only lasted me for 4,000 miles. They said the alignment is fine, and that I've been peeling out and driving like a maniac. This is not the case, I have never done a burn out in this car. I mean its a stock 93 integra. The wear on the front tires is even, and now they are completely bald. The rear tires are barely worn at all, as they shouldn't be having only put 4,000 miles on them.
Any ideas? The guy at tire kingdom said that my tokico blues w/ matched springs was causing my tires to wear out, but it sounded like a load of bull to me.

Be sure the toe is set correctly. If incorrectly set, it will cause your tires to wear much faster than even the worst camber can. On stock heights where camber is not an issue, it will evenly wear your tread. Sounds a lot like this is what you're experiencing...
Quick check - Drive in a straight line and stop (don't move the steering wheel). Hop out of the car and look down at each wheel. If they aren't pointing straight forward, your toe is messed up. Use the back wheels for reference.

or maybe some dude is coming to yur house at night and rubbing sandpaper on yur tires just to punk u!
or maybe not. i think yur doin burnouts haha

Is it lowered with correct camber kits? If no camber kits.. well there is your problem.
What's the inflation on your tires? If it's not properly set that will affect your tire wear.
Don't do burnouts!

Premature tire wear - and this example certainly qualifies - typically is due to one of the following factors:
1. Alignment. Most common cause of problems.
2. Improper inflation. Common. Although it typically shows up as uneven wear (more along the edges than the middle when underinflated, more in the middle than the edges when overinflated).
3. Suspension problem. Could be a bent control arm, shot bushings, etc.
The first thing I would do is have a proper alignment done on the car, and look at the before and after numbers.

Tire inflation is fine. I had a set of 98 civic DX steelies on the ride before my gsr blades, and I went to my storage and checked them and they have the exact same wear pattern as my michelin pilot exalto pe2's. I just didn't notice the wear on the steelies as much because the ridges weren't as defined as the michelins. I'm going to take it to my mechanic today or tomorrow and have him check and make sure nothing in the suspension is bent or messed up like you guys said. When I spoke with him before I posted this thread he seemed to think that was causing the issue and not alignment. I have pictures I will post up of the tires.

Had the car checked by my mechanic today (reputable shop) and he said the suspension looks fine, nothing bent, bushings are ok. He told me to try a different shop and get an alignment done and see how that goes. So I'm going to try that this weekend and see how the 'new' tires I have on wear
