shaved emblems
THats a job for a body shop man,
youll need body filler and then repaint
you cant paint just a section of a hood or trunk, those parts are the easiest to spot flaws on
so.......wait till your gettin the whole car painted....for now, paint your emblems black or gunmetal (if mine werent shaved I would do that
)

i lost both my emblems to thieves...instead of replacing them, i simply went to a sticker shop and color-matched a few square inches of sticker. i cut tiny circles and placed them accordingly. cheap, effective, and nobody will know...just my experience.
im getting the car painted in a couple weeks, but why pay a body shop when I can do it myself. Isn't that the point of this site. Thats like me going to the hybrid section, asking how to swap an engine, and them telling me to take it to a performance shop! Can anyone w/experience with this help me out?

it's not after a while like a year or so it will crack but it's cheaper than having someone fill it with sheet metal or fill it with liquid metal and sand/buff down the edges so it's factory smooth then paint it?
I had like 10 emblems in the glove box of my integra. When I ran out of emblems from getting jacked, I shaved them using bondo. Get something to cover the holes on the inside, and then use bondo on the outside, or else the bondo will just fall through the hole and it'll waste your money.
Ok, you cant bondo over a hole that has no backing on it. You could weld on the backside of the holes then bondo the face. Or you could fiberglass over the backside (using the mesh) then bondo the outside. Either way you do it, you have to have a backing on it or it will just fall out after time. Hope that helps a little.....
