Default b16 turbo options

i have a 90 si hatch with a b16 in it that i want to turbo. i have looked at kits and im still not sure if i should buy one or if i should build a custom kit. my goal is to make 275-300 whp on stock internals. how much boost would i need to make that number and what would be a good turbo selection that would have potential if i chose to build my motor in the future that would be able to handle 400ish hp? i have about $ 4000 to build a turbo kit.

Send me $4000 and I’ll pull my turbo kit off and send it to you.
If you search you will find the recipe to make that power no problem. I would go with the gt2871r and I would never buy a kit, waste of money. At most you will need to buy a manifold. Should breakdown something like this
Turbo $200-$1200
Manifold and downpipe $200 - $1000
Injectors: $50-$250
Piping: $100
Chipped ecu: $25-$250
Blow off valve $50-$300
Lines: $50-$100
Tune: $0-$800
Sparkplugs: $16
Intercooler: $200-$600
I’m probably forgetting something but that why you search.
