I can't remember whether this is my first or second post, and I'm a bit too lazy to check.

I just bought a (pretty much) base-model LX Coupe (Galaxy Grey) the first week of July cuz (a) I just got my license back after 5 years - don't ask lol, and (b) I thought I would only keep the car a year or so to build up some credit before buying another car. After just passing 3K on the odo, I realized that it's a pretty reliable car, and probably wouldn't mind keeping it even after I buy my next car, if even as a daily commuter. Wow I guess kids have it lucky these days

So yeah, what I want to do is pretty much go for aesthetics. I could care less about performance, maybe the bolt ons like a CAI or exhaust for the sound. Otherwise, I'm pretty much looking for help with choosing a clean kit (preferably a lip kit), suspension & shoes.

I've got her tinted and filled her up with some sounds for now, but I'm planning on opening up my budget a bit starting in September, possibly around $500 a month until I get her where I want her... Been lookin around the forum for a bit, and I see some clean stuff out there; hopefully I can get mine lookin dope, as well.

Oh, and hello all, I'm kinda lookin forward to comin out to some G2Gs and meets... I was pretty active (ok, not really) when I was a veedubber, and hope I could meet some cool people on HT.

I'm a photographer, as well, so kinda lookin forward to shootin some of your cars, as well...

right on bro im a former veedubber 2. i traded in my 01gti vr6 before the tranny broke on me and got an lx. Now i want an Si. Im still stuck in that go fast stage and the lx is nice but i just need more "go"

Yeah I got the LX, too, from the MKIV Jetta... I wish I would have gone with the Si as well. Next car is an s2k fasho.

The guys new and wants to say whats up!!! no wrong in that!! I have found that there are some pretty rude and petty people on the site! if you dont have anything nice to say than dont say anything at all
