Default lowest oil pressure for vtec to work??

just wondering if anyone knows the lowest your oil pressure can be for vtec to still work, and for your car to still run and sound right for that matter. ive been fighting with 2 different autometer oil pressure gauges and i dont think either are reading correctly. thanks

Oil pressure should be 10psi minimum at idle, and 50psi at 3000rpm, so if your making 50psi at that point, it should work, according to the service manual.
