i found the problem why the speedo wasn't working on the 1st gen crx/b16 hybrid...the speedo cable was cut and there was a electric speedo plugged in the tranny? anyway, i got a speedo cable from the junk yard for a crx but it is shy a couple inches. before i waste my time and money on another cable, can someone tell me for sure which cable will reach? thanks a lot.
Do you mean the throttle cable? Cause if so, there cheap from the dealer, even better hondaautomotiveparts.com has them cheap. I got my integra throttle cable for 20 bucks.
For sure the 89 or older model Acura Integra speedo cables will work because I used an 89 Integra LS speed cable for my swap (b18c w/92 GSR tranny). My stock CRX si speedo was about an inch too short. After the replacement, it's all good, works like a charm.
