Default Changed Alternator and Battery Twice, Car still dies!!! No Recharge? HELP

Alright, I'm posting this for a friend here. He can't figure out what's wrong with it so I figured I'd help him turn to the gurus of H-T for some answers.

My friend's 94 Honda Civic Coupe recently died on him while driving. He tried to start it up again and it wouldn't. Initially he thought it was the battery, so he replaced it..... Twice. And each time, the problem still happened. It ran and then died. SO now he turned to the alternator and had that replaced.... Twice. Still the problem exist!!! He doesn't know what it could be anymore. So I'd like to ask the H-T community for some possible answers.

Side Note: He recently installed foglights but didn't do it the "traditional" way in wiring, and just hooked it up directly with the parking light wiring so that it would turn on with the first click of the headlight switch.
Not sure if this has any possible effect on his main problem but I thought I'd put it out there.

THanks in Advance!

if the fog lights are not on when they parking lights are not on, that should not be causing it. but it this started AFTER he hooked up the lights, then i would look to them as the source of the drain. check the battery cables just for sake of mind and see if they are corroded at all. but if he is going to keep the fog lights hooked up to the main light switch, he should use a relay. they help prevent **** like this from happening

Make sure the thick white wires in the fuse box and the power wire at the starter are tightened down all the way.

You shouldn't replace a battery or alternator w/out first testing them. Alternator can be checked in 5 seconds using a $15 multimeter. Battery can be checked for free at Kragen or Autzone.

Friend found the problem.

One loose wire in the engine bay fuse box.

Another loose wire/plug else where.

thanks all.
