Do you trust your wide band or no?

It says it's 14.7 that's stoch for a gas motor. That means, not rich, not lean. I fail to see what you are really asking.

14.7 is perfect when you are at idle or cruizing. What is the a/f reading when at w.o.t???

not stock motor, high compression... reason im asking im using the d16y8 intake manifold, so it idles kind of erractic, also it is throwing code 1 which is o2 sensor, i am not using stock o2 bypassed it and wired wideband o2 to my stock wire harness.....

What does a Y8 IM have to do with your idle other than its probably the source of a vacuum leak somewheres?

Sounds like he didn’t explain himself well. Some widebands have a narrow band out put and you could use that. Some rom editors allow you to disable the o2 sensor and some well one let you run closed loop with a wideband. If you have a stock ecu and unplug the o2 bad thing will happen.

He meant to get a chipped ECU that is capable of being tuned with a wideband 02 sensor. Your ECU is probably wondering what the **** is going on.

Get it chipped before it becomes unhappy with it's home life and starts seeing other people.

Black wire is a ground wire. It needs to be treated as such, not just taped off.
