Default resonator

okay heres the deal... i read somewhere that someone took the resonator off their stock exhaust and got a good sound out of it, and im thinking "hmmmmm im on a low budget, and i want a better sound" so i have a couple of questions before acting.....
1. what do you guys think TOO rice? keep in mind im on a low budget since im still payin speeding tickets.....
2. should i just get a custom made exhaust and how much would it cost me?
3. what size piping 2 in????

i guess i should mension ive got injen CIA hondata reflash ( ) and IMG

any info and opinions would help alot since im really considering it.....

What about emissions during inspection? wont they look at your exhaust and see your missing it, also will removing the resonator change your emissions at all?

I could be wrong, but I think that the resonator is more for sound suppression. The cat is emissions.
