Punctuation is your friend.

Do all the gauges work?

What code is being thrown?

How long has all this been in the car?

You need to run the vss signal wire to your ecu. Your factory gauge cluster used to send that signal to the ECU, your new one does not, hence the code 17.

Don't forget to reset your ecu one you run the vss wire.

It only takes about 2-3 minutes to reset, but 20 will work.
