I supposedly bought a ITR flywheel and I received it today, haven't weighed it yet, but the package in a carboard box & styrofoam was weighed at 17lbs, and the flywheel was stamped P30. My pressure plate fit on it perfectly, but I'm thinking there should be a P73 stamp on it, not P30.

I'll be making a run in a few weeks with a b16a tranny, excedy clutch, test pipe and whatever this flywheel is

 

Sounds more like you got a B16A2 flywheel.

 

my old one is pretty beffy, never weighed it either.

where is the stamping? if it's on the inner diameter of the pressure plate side, mine has been removed by a broken clutch spring.

just weigh it before you think you got scammed. the packaging could be 1-2 lbs. i know for a fact they shipped two itr fw's i sold @ 17lbs a couple of times at the post office.

Hmm well I just emailed the guy and he said it came off his B18C5 when he put his toda fw on. I don't have the flywheel with me, its at the machine shop, but if anybody can check the code, it'd be much appreciated. TIA

 

have the machine shop weigh it for you?

maybe have them shave off a few more pounds as well! the lighter the better

 

Well I don't want to go too light, 14-15lbs would be nice. Does anybody know for sure if maybe the P30 shared the same flywheel as the P73?
