ur gonna need larger injectors and a tune would be a really good idea. i hope hes not talking about turbo cause that comp ratio is way to high for a sohc to boost. if u boost that u might as well video tape the head cause its coming off lol

well i just did the mini me swap. im not going turbo. im keepin it the way it is, its my daily i just did it to have a lil more pep. i read on ht that if i took out the middle layer of the head gasket it would bump up compression to a 10:1 or 11:1 and i was just wondering at that compression is it ok for me to drive, with factory injectors and such or do i need to upgrade anything to make it run safe/ properly.

You can use the stock 240cc injectors, I forgot what the B7 uses, but the Z6/Y8/LS all use 240's, as long as it's the same generation and series, they'll work.
Stock Z6 inejctors will work 100%.
You should have a 10.4:1 compression ratio, the only thing you'll need is a higher octane gas. You risk pre-ignition if you use 87 octane, that's it. No tune is necessary, just run a P28 ECU, but if I were you, I'd want it optimal, so you might wanna get an OBD-I ECU chipped and tuned on crome or neptune or something so you get the most out of your mini-me.
