on my way home from a friends house tonight i got in my car and turned it on. it is a b16a swapped crx si. i went to get something to drink at a gas station. came back out put tried to turn the car on. nothing. no coes, fuel was priming blah blah blah. it's not spark. i pushed started the car so it's not ignition either. im thinking that the nuetral safety switch came unplugged or shorted somehow. any other suggestions? thanks in advance.

(is the safety switch located on the clutch pedal or on the transmission?)

 

top of the clutch pedal assembly. i believe its a yellow plug.

 

ttt. does that sound like a good assumption? it's to dark to see anything right now.

 

do u have a aftermarket alarm? my last car did the same thing and the alarm was shorting everything out. the sns sounds like a possibility

 

no aftermarket alarm.

 

my buddies crx did that, try to reach up there and push the switch in and get some to try and start it for you, but make sure its out of gear
