Tire size.... will this fit okay...?
Looking at 18 inch rims and the tires that come with tthese are 225/40/18, will these fit okay? I also have a 1.75/1.5in drop...
I'm more worried about the width of the tire than anything, i mean damn, the stock tires are only 185's and these are 225's?

yep, i was dropped 2 1/4 with blown front shocks and still not rubbin.

they are a bit big on the diameter. The diameter you would like to stay around is 24.2" and these tires are 25.1".
If you are looking to stay 225 wide then a 225/35/18 is perfect.

But 225 would be a okay width for the car?
What would you prefer? A 225/40/18, or a 215/35/18
But wouldn't the 225/40's be a overall diameter (Rims and Tires) of about 21.25 inches..... (The 40 means 40mm sidewall right)

it should be ok as long as the offset of the rim is good. The rim width and offset come into play more so when dealing with wider tires.
neither... either get a 215/40/18 or a 225/35/18
no, thats not how you calculate the overall diameter.
the middle number is a percentage of the width. it goes like this for a 225/35/18 tire...
225*35%=78.75 is the sidewall
78.75*2=157.50 because there are two sidewalls when dealing with the diameter
157.50/25.4=6.20" to go from metric to inch
6.20+18=24.2" overall diameter.
