Help, How to fill ABS reservior
I'm trying to bleed the ABS unit on my '95 LS. I'm following the helms, but how the hell do u fill the reservoir? I took off the rubber cap on the top and attempted to put brake fluid in it, but the damn hole is so small, that none of the fluid goes in it just sits there. If i open the bleeder, the old fluid empties and new fluid eventually gets sucked in, but it will come out faster than it can be filled.
I was pouring the fluid in the hole on the right of the bleeder, BTW.
Am I doing something wrong?

Ok, I looked at a parts diagram and realized I didn't take out the cap base (#11 in diagram).

Job done...on to the next problem...my brake pedal goes to the floor. Have to pump it to get the brakes to work.
I just installed 4 bremo blanks and hawk hps pads. I also rebuilt my front calipers (dust boots were torn). While I had the brake hose off, the fluid in the master cylinder reservoir drained (didn't plug the banjo bolt well enough).
Well everything is back together now and I bled all 4 calipers.
Speed Bleeders and Sears vacumm bleeder made the job pretty quick.

I guess I'll try to bleed the brakes again, maybe put 3-4 bottles of fluid through the system and see if it gets better.
Hope it's not a bad master cylinder. I just replaced it a couple of weeks ago
Any advice greatly appreciated.

yeah you need to bleed the entire system again. Start on a rear corner then go to the diagonal front corner. Then go to the other rear corner then the other front corner. It might take awhile since the master was drained.
