I've given up on the wiring
Well after working on wiring my secondary butterflies on and off for about 2 weeks now, I've given up. I've followed the Helm's manual troubleshooting exactly and they still don't work. I got one wire going directly to A17, and the other one I tapped into the Yel/Blk wire on the PGM-FI main relay. IT DOESN'T WORK. I'm completely clueless on what to do now. Damn thing is pissing me off. Anybody have any suggestions on what to do now? Thanks.
Well, first of all, take a step back, take a breath, and let it marinate for a little bit of time. When I have trouble with something on the car, I just take a break, and come back to it.
It might help if you find a friend with a GSR and look at how their wires/hoses are routed and stuff. Have you made sure that the IAB solenoid is working? That its not seized or anything? Do you have a good ground? Do you have a hole in the IAB resoivoir?

what kind of ECU do you have?
UPDATE: I decided to manually run power to the solenoid, and it moved! It closed the secondaries. So I double checked all the wiring to the ECU and it IS correct, but it's still not working. So I've ruled it down to the ECU. Anyone else agree?
