Default Tried everything but cant figure it out

cylinder 1 still aint working , i replaced just about everything i could and tested everything before actually dropping my motor to examine it . does any one know what the problem could be? my dizzy went out a couple weeks back and when i got a new one my cylinder went out and now only 3 of them work , could this be timing issues?

After doing a quick search make sure your fuel injector #1 is functioning. You can temporarily switch it with another cylinder to see if the injector is bad or not. If everything seems ok, check the distributor again and see if there is any play in the shaft.

Have you done a Leak down test or compression test?

also check for a loose plug wire, expecially if you have aftermarket plug wires

well idk why but the plug wire for that cylinder is chipped on the side where the metal piece clips so the metal piece is only clipped on one side. this is probably why im assuming . but i held it on there while the car was on and it didint do much i dont think , and no i didint do a compression test

sounds like that plug wire might be your problem. If it's exposed the plug wire can arc up to almost 1/2 an inch thus causing a miss in that cylinder.

If its not the fuel injectors, plugs, wires, or distributor, make sure the wires are in the correct firing order.

Maybe this will help: https://honda-tech.com/zero...32193

So it should be
3 4
1 2

Seems like you have 3 and 4 switched.

Hope it solves your issue.

yea i did have them switched but i put them back in order, everything is fine except cylinder 1 lol , im pretty sure this is the injector wire now cuz idk what else it could be , and i hope nothing internal , when u pull the wire from #1 i see no difference in power so im asssuming its not getting anything at all from wire or injector

ok cool well i fixed everything now , i guess it was my # 1 wire but idk why it was new, but i went to the junk yard and snagged some NGKs that looked really really new so i tried them and for some reason now it works ? but now the distributor wont time at all , i move it forward and backword and there is no change in it , sources tell me that when i changed my cam gears i didint put them on right so now its off time , is there any way to fix this or somewhere i can take it ? or is this do-able on my own?
