broken thermostat?
1) the radiator fan is alwwwwwwwways on when the car is on, even when it first starts.
2) upper radiator hose hot(which i believe is the coolant return?), lower hose cool ( i was told they should be the same temperature roughly)
If the thermostat is replaced, would the radiator fan work again? I'm guessing that if its broken, the water is not being used to cool the engine down, and the coolant is just repeatedly recycled. help plz thanks!

okay so i replaced the thermostat (it was stuck open). However, when the car is in the "on" and when its already started, BOTH of the fans dont turn off. What is the problem?
I forgot to mention that both hoses feel pressurized, but the top one is still warm adn the bottom one is still cold (which someone told me is bad)
due to the fans always being on, its really hard to warm the engine, and it is the fans that wont turn off that is bugging me the most.

only thing i can think of would be to get a radiator flush, like at oil cans or something, they hook up a presureized hose and blow out all the stuff,
Is this an old radiator?... It may be clogged with rust, how long ago did you change the anti freeze?...
thats about all i can think of.
find a mechanic becuase if your not getting coolant you might warp your sleeves
maybe the fans stay on because its temp sensor is picking up hot coolant that is not flowing...dunno just some thoughts.
