Default Seat Options in my EG

I am a bigger guy, and I would like some seats for my EG. I was wondering what would be a good option for me. This car will not be a DD, mostly an auto-x car. I saw a picture of an EG with EP3 seats in it, and it looked pretty nice. However, it looked like the seat was too high. How are people mounting ep3 seats in eg's. Do you have to use custom rails? Any other decent and supporting options for me? Post pics!!

Define big. Really.

I'm 6'4". I have a Del Sol seat in my EJ1 and it fits like a glove...more headroom than stock, better side bolstering, etc.

That said, I'm a skinny dude (my 501s are 32/36). Folks with less than narrow butts fit in my car fine, but don't like the seat quite as much. It's a matter of personal preference really. You need to go and sit in a bunch of cars with different seats to see what you like.

Well, the Del Sols will sit you lower, no doubt.

However, they might be too snug of a fit for you @ 250 lbs. I'm right around 195-200 (5'11", FWIW) and the bolsters hug me pretty nciely. There should be no problem in the seat bottom, but the seat back MIGHT be snug on you. They still aren't massively bolstered like a JDM Recaro-or even a USDM ITR Recaro, though.

Great seats, just getting harder to find decent examples.

Wider is likely better then.

I'd still recommend sitting in as many seats as you can. Fit is an extremely personal preference. Thigns that are too narrow for me are just right for my wife, who has a wider *** than I do. Things that fit my shoulders just fine are too tight for my sister, who has narrower shoulders.

No 250lb dude is going to fit in JDM Recaros.

Go for some Recaro's.

For a cheaper option, you can do it for a 2nd Gen Crx, it will sit you lower an fits great.
