b16 head in a DA is better. i think with the gsr head you have to make a custom intake cause of how the manifold sits. cam set up would be just itr or ctr. you can find them for 250-300.

I WOULD GO WITH B16 HEAD DUE TO THE FACT IT CAN BOLT THE ITR/CTR INTAKE MANIFOLD BUT FOR CR B18 IS BETTER BUT YOU'll HAVE TO GET SKUNK2 INTAKE.

B16 hands down. Flows better and the design is alot more simple. Also do a search this has been covered a thousand times.

blah...i remember that there was a flow chart some where floating around h-t..
B16<GSR< ITR
people got to remember that the itr which is the b16 will outflow both since it is mildly ported and polish. a regular b16 head will not outflow a gsr head too....

That last part didnt really make sense are you saying a B16 will or will not outflow a GSR.

1. ITR
2. B16
3. GSR

Thats just the way it is.

I dont think so. Where did you hear this? I read that the B16 head out flowed the GSR head until they hit .450 valve lift. So unless your running a ridiculous cam the B16 is gonna flow better.

Well now if you want to narrow it down between the B16 and the ITR it the ITR for sure. It is a hand polished B16 head. It also has a more aggresive cam and a stiffer valvetrain. However if you plan on doing any head work anyways just buy a b16 head and save the money toward a set of cams or a port an polish.

I don't want to get into the flow debate, but the GSR head will net you a higher CR due to its slightly smaller combustion chamber.

Yeah its really close the GSR will actually flow better, but it requires a huge cam. Alot of people dont take into consideration the lift and duration.

Also true.
