Default 04 Accord LX Won't go above 3000 RPM's. PLEASE HELP.

I have a 2004 Accord LX, 4cyl VTEC. About 3 days ago as I was accelerating my car started to jump (hick-up). Ever since then when I hit about 2700 RPM's it starts to hick up and stall. I took it to get a diagnostic done and it gave a P2647 code. It said the problem could either be 1) Open or short circuit condition. 2) Failed Oil Pressure Switch. 3) Failed oil control valve for VVTL. 4) Failed VTEC pressure switch.

I had the oil pressure switch replaced and I pulled out the VTC oil control solenoid valve and cleaned it, but that didn't solve the problem. Can somebody please help me.

Shouldn't your Accord be under warranty?

Yes, I agree that that thread should help. There was a TSB regarding this before. Usually you would replace the VTEC oil pressure switch, Honda Part # 37250-PNE-G01 (#12 in the following picture). Make sure you are replacing this switch, instead of the other oil pressure switch.
