Default is the vtec in the head of the engine

i was wondering what makes an engine vtec and how it does it im new to this stuff so sorry if i sound stupid

the rocker arms in the head are hydraulically actuated and switch to a different cam profile.

VTEC is a system that compresses the unburnt Fuel and cools it, so when you rev the engine over 5kRPM to redline it Injects the compressed charge back into the engine and thats when you feel the foot in the *** acceleration.

VTEC = Variable Temp Emissions Compressor

What are you serious?

VTEC=Variable Valve Timing and lift Electronic Control

It doenst have anything to do with unburnt fuel or exhaust gases. It works off of oil pressure, rocker arm, and an extra lobe on your camshaft.
