oil in spark plug holes.. searched but still have ?
tegger.com said that there are 4 grommets that seal the spark plug hole chambers. When they get old, like on my 94 gsr, they leak and oil can get in the spark plug holes.
tegger also mentioned that any vtec motor or 96+ honda motor no longer uses those rubber grommets since they leak, and updated the system to use tall metal cylinders instead.
I haven't taken my valve cover off yet, but are 94 gsr's susceptible to getting oil in the spark plug hole chambers due to the old grommets or is it something more complicated?
Thanks.

i have the same problem with my LS... I just bought a new valve cover gasket and it comes with the 4 spark plug grommets.
I bought my 90 LS and pulled the plug wires to replace the plugs and found a ton of oil in the number 2 cylinder spark plug hole. I took off the valve cover and replaced the grommets and never had a problem again. Easy fix bro. Just take off the valve cover.
