My question is..
Whats the best way to wetsand headlights that are starting to yellow? I want to make my headlights clear again when i DIY paint them black on my 98 coupe. only one i starting to yellow at the top. anyone got any tips for me or anything?
Thanks

Sure.... sand with 1000 grit first... Then... 1500..... (you could go ahead and buff).. but... to get a even better result... do 2000 grit... and buff... (if have in hands 3000..why not?!).
I do that all the time on customers cars....

Be carefull when buffing your headlights. Plastic will burn very easily. So if you never bufffed before, don't learn on your headlights (unless you have spairs).

I have 4k grit in my stash.

I use 2k then 3m compound on a 3" pad. Or when I am lazy, 2k and mother's
mag & aluminum polish. Try it, does wonders.

Is it yellowing with scratches/gouges or just yellowing....
if just yellowing i would suggest Meguiars #80 it will remove the oxidation and polish @ the same time (but i would use the with a pc ) alternative is Megs DC #1 but i prefer #80 (paint and body supply) then apply protection ...
