Imperial flag valve cover painting DIY
I did a search found some good write-ups for valve cover repainting but nothing for the Japanese flag or Imperial flag. Does someone know how to or as a link?
Wow takes alot of skill. I would advise on having hands-on experience airbrushing first. Visit your local borders for how-to books and manuals.
i don't think it wopuld take alot of skill...just alot of patience.
recomendation
clean and prep the valve cover
spray the whole thing in white. now mask of the pattern of the parts you want to keep white and spray in red.
use quality tape so it does create a jagged edge when you remove it.
i have never done a rising son scheme but i have done many valve covers and paint cars as a hobby so it does not seem too hard

I was about to try to put the first coat in red since I use SP-204 VHT wrinkle paint it will leave a "powder coated" look so when ill shoot the white on top it will still be wrinkled.
Thank you for advice
