Some wierd noises from my 95 ls teggie..
like title says, when im driving and i start to accelerate, sounds like i can acually hear my tires spinning from the inside, its very hard to explain but its like rumbling noises. it gets louder as i accelerate, and when i slow down, the noise fades.. im pretty sure it has something to do with my tires, but i wana know what else it may be.

hey before you do anything to the wheel bearing check all your belts it could just be off of its grooves or they need replacing because i'm pretty sure if it were wheel bearings it would sound like scrapes not tire squeelings(my friend had a 94 teg wheel bearings were the problem sounded like it scraped like hell
and also, im now getting a clunking noise from my right rear suspension area, avoided an accident at a mall due to stupid *** driver and sideskirt went on curb and dragged to the back of my wheel. i was going like 5 mph turning and went over an island /QQ
A belt will squeal. A wheel bearing will make the "whoom whoom" sound he described and get worse with speed. Check your tires for uneven wear and such. If they tires are in good condition and everything checks out ok on that end, then it has to be the wheel bearing. I just want to know where the sound is coming from. My brother had a wheel bearing out in the back passengers side and it would do the exact thing you described.
the whoom whoom noise is something i had in my rear tires as well, it was an unbalanced wheel. try that first and see if both problems will go away. Trust me on the whoom whoom noise, either that OR a wheel bearing, but it really doesn't hurt to balance the tire first. Cost efficient.
if you're hearing a clunking noise, check your suspension.

i think when i like tapped the curb it threw my alignment off in the rear right section. i can sort of tell a difference while driving but it isnt major, going to rotate tires tomorrow and see how that goes, ty for all the help people! and i still dont mind any suggestions of what you have to think, just reply away =D

rotate your tires, and make sure they are balanced properly. Highly unlikely its a wheel bearing.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Glad to know you fixed it. I still no reason why its HIGHLY UNLIKELY THAT ITS A WHEEL BEARING. Maybe its highly unlikely some people know what they're talking about. Good times.
